Sunday at Big Cedar

After the Whitsons went home..We stayed until the following Wednesday. Sunday afternoon we went to Silver Dollar City for thier Old Tyme Christmas. It was nice..It was not so cold this year! Monday we shopped and went on a horse and buggy ride through the Big Cedar property. The last stop on the ride was a bonfire with smores to make and a cowboy to singing by the campfire. There was Hot Cocoa and apple cider...It was great.

We also made a dinner trip to Dixie Stampede..Sean was selected out of the audience to through toilet seats for the South Pole! He won! Good thing! The kids loved it...

We went on the Wilderness walk at Big Cedar...We have never done it..But it was a great walk..lots of interesting things for the kids to look at...they love to explore and found a great walking stick for Kaden to use in his class play.

The trip was the best Christmas gift ever!

We went to Big Cedar again this year...It has become my birthday tradition...We love it there! We went with our neighbors and their 3 kids...they are all pretty close to the same ages as our kiddos..so it was fun. They were so well behaved! We had an Elf, Bell, tuck in Miss T and read them all Christmas story, and each child got a gift in a stocking. Riley was fascinated by the elves large ears and tried to pull on them. We had a beautiful tree and a great fireplace in our cabin. Mr Monte was the official fireplace guy! Saturday Morning was breakfast with Santa and Mrs Claus...the kids and parents made stockings to take home after the meal. We went to several different exhibits in Branson and had a great time! What a great weekend with friends...

Poor Miss A was so bundled that when she tried to walk she fell over and was stiff as a board..We laughed and thought of the kid on the Christmas Story...

The Big Cedar chefs made a huge gingerbread house in the lobby ..it smelled yummy!

The boys helped the Big Cedar guy stock the wood pile...Notice Koles cup of cocoa...Not Coffee!

Mr Monte had to pick up each little one to show them the raccoon on the cabinets...They all had to touch it to see if it was alive...I guess they just thought it was really good at the freeze game!

Happy Birthday to me! 34...Man I am getting old!

Here are pictures of "me" on my birthday...My mom sent them this morning. The spatula is my sceptor. There is also a picture of T man doing the soulja boy dance.
