Spring Break 2008

We had a great time on our family trip...We drove to Cheyenne Wyoming to stay with Seans parents and do a little skiing. His grandparents..The Stephans..live in Colorado...just across the border and we spent most afternoons at thier ranch. The kids all took turns driving the ranch road..It is thier drive...takes about 10 minutes....Kaden got to go to the ranch early every morning with Papa Bob...Kaden was his shadow...There are some pics of Grammy GUMDROP and Grampa Jr.

We got to see lots of baby cows this time...they are so cute! Kaden wanted to bring one home....He wanted to keep it in the house...I don't think so! Kole had fun as well..exploring and drawing...He has a very creative mind and had a great time telling everyone about the book he made...It is pretty impressive. Riley was a talker...She loves her great grammas..She talked about her grammie Joy most of the way home....She is at a point where she understands who people are...like you are my dads mom..etc...so she thought it was fabulous that Grammie Joy was her Daddies grandma and her Grandma Kathys mom....so funny how her little mind works. She did not enjoy skiing at all...We took a friends daughter from Bentonville to help out with the kids..so she and Riley stayed in the lodge and watched the skiers and ate...The boys had a ball on the slopes...Kole and Kaden were doing really well after a few tries....They never gave up...Sean tried to kill me on a steep slope...The first one we did was super easy..so I asked him to go to one more challanging.....well..I got my wish! I did a ruff rolling fall about half way down...the kids could see me out the window of the lodge and they laughed thier heads off!....It was quite amusing! Not as a musing as the lifts though...good gravy those things are hard! We won't go there though..ha ha There is a cool picture of a snow tornado too..We saw that on the drive home from Laramie

We also went to see the new Horton Hears a Who movie...Kids liked it...We did a little shopping in Colorado and went to tour the Budweiser Brewery...Facinating how beer is made....The best part was the end...2 free beers! Sean and PB were happy....We took picture of Bailey in front of the brewery...Sean said we could use it for blackmail...she is Morman..and underage...It was funny

We had a good time though...We really miss everyone that lives in Cheyenne....(Thanks for all the food, fun and clothes!) Enjoy the pics! XOXO
